How do i get into admin mode please? I'm trying to save work to a cd and it is telling me I cant and I have to see the administrator. This computer is cracking up and so am I . Please help!

Go to user accounts in the control panel and change it so you are the administrator.

If you have a CD burner, and a writeable or rewirteable CD in the drive, you will need something like DLA (drive letter access) from Sonic installed to write direct to the CD. If you have all of that, then follow the above advice to login as admin.

Log in as Administrator, or any other user with Administrator level access.

You can't save something to a CD unless you are burning a CD. You will want to save your file some where on the computer (the desktop is easy to find) and then use a CD burning program to put it on a CD.

Boot up in Safe Mode and you'll be able to access the adinistrator's account

if it's xp home and you never set up an administrator then try this:
when the welcome screen comes up ( the one with the pictures and usernames) hit CTRL+ALT+DEL and you get a window.
username: Administrator
leave password blank and hit enter

you may have a blank admin password
