Psychologically, a person breaking and entering believe he/she is more likely to get caught when entering the front door, since the front is usually associated with more activity in the house, and the back is more secretive, per se. Thus, he/she will attempt to enter the back. This, of course is if he/she know he/she has the key.

If he/she doesnt know he/she has the key, thenthats a different story.

lol....for the same reason that i had to call my uncle over to 'fix' the trunk on my car because it woudn't open with the button.....he just took the key from me and unlocked it........=)

I wouldn't attempt to enter your locked back door, I would open the front door with the key you gave me. Duh!
