I just want the facts not a bunch of talking heads trying to persuade my thoughts and opinions. Am I the only one who feels this way?

You are exactly right. Even news magazines are slanted by the author's opinion on the subject. The news media should know the difference between reporting and editorializing, but they no longer seem to care.

The News Hour with Jim Lehrer on PBS is about the best real news coverage left.

I agree 100%. I normally just read the news on the net now that way I don't have to put up that trash. ABC news one is pretty good for not being talking heads you can watch it here http://www.4tv.com/

Don't forget..most of the media is run by the left wing of this country and they don't really want you to know the whole truth. Sadly, it's not just news anymore. These news stations have their own agendas and want to influence public opinion to that end.

Watch one of those foreign language news stations. They can still spout their opinions, you just won't be able to understand them.
