Living in families is rare in other beings, it is most common
among humans.
The Upanishads say that women in general excel in the
component of mind called Chitta, and men in general
excel in the component of mind called Manas. In modern
terminology, Chitta acts likes 'Integration' in mathematics.
Woman's concern will be to look after the family as an
integrated unit, looking ofter the interests of all.
Manas acts like 'differenciation' in mathematics. He tries
to differentiate the attitudes of all in the family and criticises
them. According to this classification, woman is specifically
desined to be the coordinator or maker of the family.
Man's mind is designed for best interaction out side the
family. It is an observation in all cultures that if any man
is labelled as 'family man', he is credited with more of
femininity and less of masculinity.
When one tries to explore to find the best women in the
world, he should consider this important aspect.
It is a fact published in news papers that more than 50%
of eligible men in the world are living as bachelors.
The divorce rate is in the U.S.A. is highest in the world.
The lowest divorce rate of the world is that in India - it is
less than 6%. The traditions of marriage are so strong
in India that there is no word for 'divirce' in any Indian
language. (Talaak is a Urdu word).
Ancient Hindu texts say "Stree sakti roopini" - a seed of that
primordial energy which created the very creation in the
'begining' is present in the hearts of women.

Mothers. They are the cooks, waitresses, nurses, advisers, maids, chauffeurs, they never take a day off and work 24/7. They always have a shoulder to cry on and an ear to listen. They are the only person that would lay down their life for you without giving it a second thought. Mothers are the best!!!

Depends on what qualifications you require. This is a very subjective question. In my opinion there are a few people in the public eye that truly try to help people, i believe two of those people are Oprah Winfrey and Angelina Jolie. Oprah gets a bad rap for being preachy, but she genuinely wants to make people's lives better and open people up to a new world. Angelina is using her fame to gain attention to the plight of poor nations, and she is pro-active about it by adopting kids from poor nations.
