After Hurricane Katrina hit New Orleans, Shaq bought a fleet of 18-wheelers and trailers to haul water and food into the area. No one put that on camera. (Everyone was too busy blaming GWBush for the hurricane) Also, many of the players have their own foundations set up to help kids in their team's city. A lot of players have separate foundations set up to help those from their home towns.

Actually yes they do. They're are a lot of players who before this NBA cares program began did a lot of charity work. Rasheed for instance has different programs for kids in Detroit, Philadelphia, and Portland and Shaq has things set up in Miami and LA just to name two players who have always been there for the community.

not really... these hug a child for a few seconds on the camera and then when they're off, they burn their clothes to buy new ones...
