What is latest in pregnancy you can have an abortion done?

I know this is a little confusing but... My boyfriends brothers girlfriend is about 24-25 weeks and is getting an abortion. Is this even possible. I am 30 weeks pregnant and this is the happiest time of my life and I just dont understand. Actually I am Pissed that is nothing but pure murder. what is your opinion?

This is very, very wrong, but unfortunately it is legal in some states. At 24-25 weeks, the baby is capable of surviving outside of the womb. The abortion will be excruiatingly painful for the child. Please do whatever you can to stop this abortion. Can you pass some information along to her? A child's life is at stake.

I hate to tell you but abortion is possible up until the last days of pregnancy- it is called partial-birth abortion- She is over 6 months so she would have this procedure. Abortion at any stage is murder, but this procedure is the worst- I do not want to make you sick but what they do is basically deliver the baby -and they have to cut the skull- ok sorry enough- if you want more info you can find it on line under partial birth abortions- Do everything that you can to help her see this is wrong- it does not only just kill the child she will live with remember taking the life of her child for the rest of her life- I counsel women who have had abortions, and who are considering having abortions. That child has EVERYTHING it will have at birth- except smaller- I am glad that you are happy to be pregnant- your friend should consider adoption- it gives life. My 2 kids and myself could have been victims of abortion- but our birth moms chose life for us- and placed us for adoption- I have 2 precious teenagers because of their self-less birth moms. I will pray she changes her mind-

Yes termination of a pregnancy isn't very nice but some people have their reasons. Its a bit weird though that your brother's girlfriend has left it so long. There must be some underlying reason for it and it's probably best to confront them about it so you can understand why she is doing it

i agree with you, i would never have it anywat. im 18weeks pregnant and ive felt the baby move and the thought of someone doing it now is horrible but 24 weeks is bad. talk to them about it, maybe there has been an abnormality that has shown up and theyve decided it would be best not to go through with it. i dont know. but it does sound pretty bad.
