this person a female knows what she is doing and thinks it is funny!!! i of course do NOT...i have dumped her as a friend...I feel it is being INSENSITIVE...DON'T YOU????

True friends never intentionally try to embarrass you. I don't consider that a friend at all.

You didn't give any details as to how you were embarrassed, however I get the impression from your question that you wear your feelings on your shirt sleeve. Perhaps you are a little too sensitive and should laugh off the incident in the manner it was intended. If you dump every friend who makes a joke at your expense in life you probably won't have any friends or the ones you do have will all be sad sacks.

If a person embarasses you ofcourse there not your friend especially if they embarass you on purpose.A real friend sticks up for you not embarasses you.They always thinks its funny but it's really not only to them,something is funny if you were laughing to but you were not.I would have dumped her as a friend too because this is someone i woudn't be able to trust.I had this problem alot of times and now those people are either out of my life or just associates meaning someone i might talk to every once in a while but do not trust.Yes,It is very insensitive you can find better friends.

Good decision to let her go. A friend won't continually embarrass you. She is being very insensitive and you can find someone who treats you with consideration and where you both enjoy each others company.

Well, you made a good,wise decision. No friend should treat any one like that! If she thinks shes being funny, then she has another thing coming for her! There are plenty of better people out there that are alot better than that!

My friends and I always joke around and embarrass ourselves all the time. If you don't like what your friend is doing just tell her/him that you care what other people think of you when she embarrasses you like that. My friends and I couldn't care less what other people think of us. Whats the worst thing that can happen? Ruin our reputation? You need to learn how to have fun.

she's just feeling insecure herself and is in need of attention. She's trying to place negative attention on you to avoid people seeing her flaw(s). Tell her how it makes you feel and give her a chance to make it right by not continuing the behavior. If she can't do it, dump her and forget the friendship.

I think that person should not do those kinda things... especially your friends. When me and my friends start to do that to each other we end up saying were sorry a day after or so.

well if your sure she knew she was embarrassing you then that was kinda wrong but i don't think you should have dumped her as a Friend maby just sat her down and explained to her that you didn't think it was cool and asked her to stop and if she didn't then don't go out in public with her and more..but i think if you were a true friend you wouldn't have dumped her as a friend.
