The valence shell is the outermost, the one that reacts with other elements. Se is atomic no 34. I think it's 2-8-18-6 or something similar.... I'm 99% sure the valence shell has 6 electrons in the valence shell (-2 is most common for compounds).

But if you have the orbits, just include the outermost shell.

Valence shell is the outermost energy level of an atom. You probably mean the electron cloud configuration. The electron cloud configuration for Se is 3d10 4s2 4p4
