No, of course not. Hamilton was the Secretary of the Treasury and a close confidant of George Washington, but Thomas Jefferson disliked him as they had opposing political views (Hamilton was a Federalist and Jefferson an anti federalist Democratic republican). In fact Jefferson's Vice President Aaron Burr killed Hamilton in a duel. Not surprising Hamilton had some scandal in his personal life and was a hot head. Really a shame because he was so brilliant.

Alexander Hamilton was the 1st Secretary of the Treasury. He was one of the founding fathers. Never was a US president. He successfully fought for a single currency compared to thirteen currencies of the thirteen colonies, and was for a strong federal government. He helped Thomas Jefferson defeat Aaron Burr for the presidency, not for like of Jefferson but of dislike for Burr.
He was shot and mortally wounded by Aaron Burr in a duel.
