For jeans, what does 'slightly tapered' leg opening mean? Does it just mean that the leg opening is straight?

Thank you!

No the pants are not a straight cut. At the end of the leg, the pants come in a little. A popular style in the late eights and early nineties. A strong suggestion, do not buy them or wear them. They are very unflattering.

It means the pants taper in just a little at the bottom of the pants. However, they are more or less the same as a straight leg jean.

If they're tapered, they get smaller at the ankles. They're like the exact opposite of bootcut/flared jeans. Tapered jeans look bad on absolutely everyone.

It means that they narrow in from hip down to the ankles. Don't buy pants that say anything tapered because they make your bottom half look like an ice cream cone and that's not a very figure flattering look.
