No. Florida and North Carolina are NOT overrated. You have to remember the pressure and the confrences. Anyways, it's good to lose a few games before March Madness. So what, NC and Florida will drop a seed or two. They'll be a little less highly rated, so they can change what people are thinking of them right now.

Neither florida or north carolina are over rated. unc boasts some of the most talented players in the country, and they are freshman at that. Not too mention they sit atop (depending on the GT game) one of the top 3 conferences in the country.

Florida we are talking about a team that just won the national championship and returned their starting 5. It is pretty hard to be over rated when you have a big shiny ring on your finger to prove you belong. To go along with one of the best big men in the country.

Florida loses to the archmost rivals in a series that is always hotly contested (Vols vs Gators) regardless of the sport or the venue, and suddenly the "overrated" birds are chipring.

Look, I hate the Gators, but they are not overrated. They're a great and experienced starting 5 with a great coach and a solid bench. To think that these SEC losses are signals of their impending doom is foolish. Look at how they did it last year. They reeled off a bunch of bad SEC losses to finish the season and then rambled right to the title.

UNC is overrated as much as Hansbrough is. I hate the ESPN commentators who usually stroke Duke's ego who've jumped on the Tyler train. Someone needs to give that boy back his eyelids.

Duke has certainly shown that they are vulnerable to quick, athletic teams. Once ACC season began, they were forced to play good teams on the road, something Coach K avoids at all costs prior to conference season with the exception of an occasional foray to the Meadowlands. Ranking is not deserved.

UNC's lack of experience has certainly been a factor in recent losses, their talent is immense. They are certainly capable of blowing out any team in the country as well as dropping games to quick, athletic, motivated opponents. Ranking is deserved.

Florida is a mystery. Experience, talent abound. The play in arguably the toughest conference in the country. Being defending champions, they play with a bullseye on their collective jerseys. Having won the SEC East, it's possible focus could have been a factor. Watch the SEC conference tourney for clues on how the Gators will fare in the NCAA's. Ranking is deserved.

No both teams are great. Florida is going through a rough time but I think they could still repeat. North Carolina is playing well with a young team.

north carolina is definitely not overrated. florida definitely is though. UNC had a lot of hype because of their freshman class, but they still are a very good team and are doing very well for a team dominated by freshman in the still strong ACC. Florida is in my opinion because none of their players are really that good, and the one that is overrated and overhyped the most is Joakim Noah. He is definitely the top 5 pick everyone on ESPN thinks he is, and he isnt even the best post player on their team, Horford is.

Florida is deinitely not overrated. However, I believe NC is overrated. A lot of it has to do with the fact that UNC and Duke will always be seen as top schools, even when they don't play like they used to.

it appears florida is overrated, they just do not want to be out there on the floor...those guys came back to defend their title and win an sec regular season championship, so they feel that they have little reason to be out there...unc appears like they might be overrated too, and i'm a carolina fan saying this...their defense has been falling off, and their offense has not played to its full potential this season despite seven 100-point games, because they have been inconsistent shooting the ball and have struggled to find answers when their shooters are having trouble

Unfortunately, I think Carolina is the real deal, for now. Wright is just too hot and as much as I dislike big goofy (hansbrough) he is the real deal also. Florida isn't overrated, Noah is.

YESSSSSSS!!!!!

Florida: They are a great team, but not the best one. They lost to 5 teams, 4 of which are unranked.

UNC: Yeah. They lost to MD, NC State and Georgia Tech.
