What is the scariest thing that has ever happened to you?

I think it would have to be when I was in the army.
I was on guard duty over a long weekend. (an extra day off)
Most squadies went home
I was in my room reading a book in an almost deserted barracks when I heard the noise of a baby crying (Very unusual in an army barracks) So I went to investigate.
The noise was comming from the stair well so I stood at the top of the stairs wondering if someone needed help.
From where I stood I could see all of the stairs down to the ground floor. The sound of crying started up the stairs and I could pinpoint where the sound was comming from It gradually wound it's way up the stairs towards where I was standing. But the stairs were totaly empty of anything
I don't consider myself a nervy person but when the sound reach the floor below me my nerve broke and I ran back to my room and locked the door

Quite a few years ago, sitting around a table with two other friends and they wanted to see if they could summon a spirit with an old, thick, wooden Ouija board that my friend's grandmother had given her....they thought it was a joke and pretty funny.
after about 15 minutes one of my friends said out loud "is there anyone else in the room with us?"
The Ouija board, on it's own or some other power, flew out from under our hands and crashed against the window across the room.
We ran out of the house, scared to death...next day the one friend went back to the house and moved everything out and moved into a hotel until she found another place to live.
News reporters went into the house a couple of weeks later but no one saw or heard anything unusual...the Ouija was found broken into small pieces.
You won't believe this story and that's ok...but, it's true..it really happened...I was there.

I got my foot ran over by some lady in here car while I was walking my dog.. my dog got off the leash and he was just a pup and almost ran onto the busy highway. It scared the crap out of me first of all that the lady didnt even see me crossing the street and ran my foot over which hurt excruciatingly, she almost ran my dog over and almost caused him to get hit on the road I was so scared and then I was soo mad at her for being such a dork.

Another time when I was about 11 my friend and I were sliding down this hill in the bush in winter, we did it all of the time on my GT which you could steer.. she had a regular plastic sled but you couldnt steer and the hill had a turn near the end. Anyway I told her we shouldnt go down on that sled but she didnt listen and convinced me, then I said ok but you have to sit in the front.. well nope she wouldnt do it and convinced me to sit in the front. So we started going down the hill and the trail was a skidoo trail so it was packed down and the snow was that consistency where it is all little tiny balls of ice and the sled was brand new super slick plastic there were trees all around too on either side of the hill and at the turn at the bottom... I have never went that fast on a sled before or since it was crazy!! the combination of snow type, packed trail and plastic sled made us go super fast.. I started to get a little scared because the turn and trees were coming up fast and leaning wasnt turning us, so I stuck my foot out to try and slow us down but it caught my foot and turned me sideways on the sled and we ran straight into a big tree.. I hit it with my stomach and got the wind knocked out of me, I laid there for a second and it was dead quiet, then my friend started to scream that she couldnt see and was freaking out.. I tried to comfort her but she was all screwed up and said she hit her head and couldnt see.. What happened was she flew over top of me and hit the tree trunk full force on her face. I was really scared because she started puking and stumbling etc tried to lay down in the snow and go to sleep, kept saying how tired she was.. good thing I knew what to do, I kept her awake and helped her walk to her Oma's house which was just down the trail a couple hundred feet.. She was puking the whole time and trying to go to sleep finally we got to the house and her Oma got out her medical book and we found out she had a concussion and that we shouldnt let her fall asleep. So we kept her awake and got her a ride to the hospital 15min away I went to the hospital with her and they actually took her to the better hospital an hour away because she broke her cheek bone and it had caught her eye muscle and was pinching it.. she had to get surgery and everything.. it was really scary!! She was my best friend! Ever since I am a little scared of going sliding and I wont go if there are trees anywhere around.. too scary you can get hurt really bad doing something that seems so fun.

I think it was about 4 hours ago. I was sitting in my room and I heard this loud noice (kinda screaching) over my raidio. I look outside to find what seemed to be thousands upon thousands of birds. They were in about 8 trees around my street. I called my mother-in-law to let her hear them through the phone because it was so loud. When I walked on my front porch about 30 seconds later they all started flying and it seemed as they were going to come in my direction. It was like this huge black cloud in the sky. No joke- thousands! I felt like I was in that bird movie where they come and peck your eyes out! Scary!

I was at the library with a friend to work on a project and this random older man came up to us and started helping us and he was getting really close to me and I kept on backing up then the librarian asked him to leave and he sort of refused but then gave in. It was SO scary!!!!

I once fell down a high hill on my inline skates, fell down, my body was scraping down the road, time seemed to slow down,when I finally stoped my legs and arms were a bloody mess.

when i was a kid my neighbor who was a real good friend snuck into my house one night when it was just me and my sis and he hid in my basement which is huge and dark at night with a freddy cruger mask and my sis knew but not me when i wwent down to get a soda he came runinng out and i was truly terrified
