auto key wont start car?

tried to start car would not start . I was told the key has to be reprogram for $400.00 .

if the key has a chip inside it does have to be programmed to the vehicle. don't think it cost quite that much but it isn't cheap either.

maybe just needs a new battery, try that first.if it doesnt work call a dealership of your car type and ask if they would look at it and what they charge if anything.good luck.
