Things to look for that mean your period is on its way are underarm and pubic hair, breast growth and white, vaginal discharge. The average girl will get her first period around 12 years old, but this definitely varies from person to person. If you're ever concerned about your body's development, check in with your family doctor to see what they think!

you know ...actually it could be about to start ..but as someone stated earlier ...symptoms vary. No 2 people are the same. I know when I started mines ..I was about 11 or soon to be 11 ..and I had no pain or no form of indication ..until I saw a bit of blood in my underwear. Freaked me out ...well almost lol. But on a serious tip please talk to ur mom she can really help you with this and answer any and all questions u may have.

well, cramps and pain are very good signs that things are starting to begin.... although that does not necessarily mean that your period is about ready to start. Eleven years old is not very old and the average age to have your period is twelve. Just relax and when you least expect it - it will be here!
good luck!

I'm 13 and i had crams like in that place too and so i got that cramp thing when i was like..11 so it should be soon so ask your mom when she got her period because its most likely that you will get yours the same age as your mom. like my mom and my sister got theirs when they were 13 too so its mostly on that so this is a good site to know before your period!

hope this helps

Perhaps. Your best bet is to make sure you keep supplies with you just in case, but the signs are so different for everyone that all I can suggest you do is read the link below.

Stomach pain is probably all you'll notice at your age. Dont rush it!!! Once it comes its going to be there for a while and youre going to wish it never came!
