I'm a firm believer in do what you want, provided it doesn't hurt others of course. So if an adult woman wants to put her hair in pigtails or braids she should. I must confess that I once cut my hair too short for a ponytail but needed my hair out of my eyes to play squash so pigtails it was and I really don't care what I looked like just as long as I win! :D

I think it can be cute. But only at certain times.
For example: when gardening, cleaning or doing something else along those lines at home.
If there was a business woman with pigtails at the center of attention during a business meeting, it would be pretty inappropriate. But put that same woman in some jeans and a flannel shirt at home drinking coffee and it's totally fine.

Only if they are young adult women. I don't think that a "mature" woman looks good in pigtails. If a woman's hair has started to change color, it is past time to lose the pigtails.

You know..I changed my avatar from braids to long because everyone thought I was a child..But, yes..pigtails and braids are cool for me..I am 33
