Ah, what a fun question. You think the gov't wastes your money?
You think it's by accident or design? I say that's one of their goals. It's not enough to be wealthy, you've got to make others poor.

To answer your question - you're not getting any refund my poor boy. 98% of what you give is siphoned off to wealthy folks with connections in the White House and congress.

No that's not a charity - it's legal thievery.

High priority is to retain as much of your $ as you can.

No. Do not trust a capitalist government with your money. If you want to give away the money personally give it to a charity or a specific person.

No, you shouldn't. Because this country is far to corrupt and won't use it correctly. Maybe if we lived in another country, and it had a likelihood of going to social programs that would help the poor, or the elderly, or the ill,or foreign aid, then yes. But the US will just put it towards their killing-middle-easterners-fund.

If you love your country, you'll do your part to help pay off the debt.. If you're rich, you shouldn't ask libs that Q, if it was up to us, you wouldn't get a refund....

You'd be better off donating it to a real charity that actually helps people instead of filling the beauracracy machine.

besides, if you donate to a charity, you'll also get a nice deduction on next year's taxes.

You have a war to pay for, and a "surge" that needs funding, not to mention you need to support the troops by giving them decent health care when they return. Put your money where you mouth is.

You mean charity like the 1 trillion dollars we have spent in Iraq, while New Orleans lies in ruins? And conservatives say that liberals hate America. You would rather help a bunch of Arabs then spend our tax dollars on Americans.
