My son's PS2 disc door will not open? Help!!?

Sorry, I have the slim one, the one that you don't need to turn on the system to open the disk door, again sorry.

If it's the old style that lets you add a hdd (the disc tray ejects not the slim ones with the pop-top disc access) instructions are near the bottom of this site http://www.i-hacked.com/content/view/75/62/
