Easy, you feel nonexistent. You feel your actions mean nothing, and everything around you means nothing. No, its not a contradiction, but it doesn't really make sense. You simply feel dead, nothing more and nothing less. The best thing you can do in this case is get a good night's sleep, and wake up in the morning and think things over. Think happy, and be positive. Why live feeling dead, when you can live like your alive!? You might even be a little depressed, talk to someone, let them know how you feel. By doing this they may offer advice and cheer you up! Thus, they are showing they care about you, so you don't have to feel like nothing matters; cause it does. Hope I answered your question right, best of luck. Oh, and don't worry be happy now! 8)

If you truly felt dead, you would not feel emotion. You would feel removed and isolated from others. You would feel like you just didn't care about anything anymore. You feel pain because you care. Being alive means you feel emotion. That is what it means to be human.
On that note....
Your feelings are not always the most important thing in life. Reality is often unpleasant. Face it. Get of your *** and do what needs to be done!

it's like a divorce. It feels like you're dead, but you keep on living. Hang tough. You have that big, empty feeling in your stomach....I don't know what you are going through, but you are definitely not dead, and you are not the only person that has ever felt like that. Put it in God's hands when you don't know what to do. Things will get better.

since there is no one alive that can tell you what it feels like to be dead, I suggest that at best you are uninspired, or just plain numb. That is of course unless when you are woken up by the stench of your own rotting corpse and have worms feeding off of you. You may need guidance, but ultimately only you can get yourself out of this state, Take a deep breath, choose to LIVE!!!!

If we assume that the state of being dead is one that stops all sensory experience then theoretically the term "feeling dead" is inapplicable since there is no feeling associated with death. As to why you want to describe your state as being dead, it is a common association to say that the feeling of lacking something is like the sensation of death, but once again, death wouldn't "feel" like anything, even like a feeling of lacking feeling.
Then again, this is assuming that sense experience is gone after death.

if you have never been dead you cannot 'feel' dead because you dont know what dead is, empirically. perhaps you are emotionally overwhelmed which causes you to feel numb to certain emotions but not all emotions.
i would describe your state as 'apathetic'

i think that the feeling of death is the absence of feeling. hard to explain but i'll try. nothingness is a feeling, and it is often a feeling associated with being dead or lifeless. but i do like your question, food for the thaught...

It is that you have lots of will for emotion, but feel not. It is as if you feel the power of the lack of emotion.
