McCain is slipping and his support is showing to be soft. Romney is getting no traction. Guliani leads the Republicans but reasonably can be predicted to lose his luster once his social views are known more widely. Brownback and Huckabee, conservative evangelicals though they are, are not conservative or evangelical enough for the Republicans' staunchest right-wingers. Tancredo and Hunter are boutique candidates.
It surprises me, but it seems like the Republican rank and file is restless with the current field. If I were a Republican on the sidelines, I would think there's an opening as wide as a proverbial Mack truck.
Will one or two or three others get in? Who do you think WILL get in? Not asking who you want, but who you think.

Yes, I know I didn't list all of them, but the point is that the frontrunners appear to be politically weak, and the hard-core base is not rallying around anyone else in the field. That's a vacuum, and nature (and politics) abhors one.

Look for Gingrich to start making noises but I don't think he'll declare. Politicians in the mid-late 90s are poison to the opposing side.
If Giuliani gets the nomination, look for Pat Buchannan to launch a third party bid.

I advise that the better reduce for contributions be performed away with, and that the optimal payouts in retirement nevertheless stay as they're, adjusted for inflation. Social safe practices isn't a "provide away" software yet one which all of us make a contribution to love a mark downs plan, and could be probability-free adverse to different makes use of by the authorities. Do you settle or disagree and why? if you're so aggravating about it then why no longer; first placed it decrease back into the non-public sector and make to were no can take out money from it for his or her own interest, second pay decrease back each penny you've borrowed from both Social safe practices and Medicare, third take the unlawful immigrants off of it and those who come over the following yet not at all paid a penny to it, and finally have it an similar for actually everyone; in different words authorities officials are to take area in it and in the journey that they pick some thing extra they do it on their own without the tax payers funding it?yet, the monetary stytem feeding the imbalances had not at all been truly replaced. They, a collection of scholars, said that each and each body costs of interest will be 3% or a lot less for actually everyone to develop into wealthy if wanted (that must be genuine also to taces). the acceptable monetary subject will be, they said, at the same time as there have been no costs of interest. Why no longer do this answer? the wealthy would nevertheless be wealthy. My question is: at the same time as soial safe practices turns right into a difficulty appropriate to federal debts, why no longer artwork with a balanced or benefit budget and spend no more suitable than is offered in, as any kin has to attempt for? Why no longer ban all loobying presents with the intention to get guidelines that serve the country? God bless u.s..

I can't imagine why anyone else would enter the race on the Republican ticket because a Republican will not win, can't, because the people are sick of the GOP as of the current President, a Republican!
Unless the Democrats do something really stupid, I don't think that a Republican has a chance until the 2016 election! The people have long memories.

I hate to say this, as I am a proud Republican, but I don't think you will see a lot of strong Republican candidates for this race. I think a lot of them are worried that a Republican will NOT get into the White House this time around because of the war in Iraq. Therefore, save the money, see what idiot from the Democratic party wins, let them goof up (as they will) and be prepared to fight the next time around. I hope I am wrong and someone comes out of the blue and pulls it off.

Yes. I think there will be others to get into the race, but don't underestimate Giuliani. Once people do start to find out about his social views, and that they really aren't that Liberal, there may be no stopping him. He did great things for NY, and he's tough on terrorism! I like him, and I can be considered an Evangelical. I've done my research on the man.

Romney is getting stronger. He is starting to creep up in the polls. If fact, he raised about $5 million in one fundraiser, so the guy does have a lot of support.
And yes others will enter, but probably no one major. The only major one who might enter is Newt Gingrich.

McCain is for the war so he is screwed for president. Giuliani will pick up speed. The pubs are going to have a hard time with anyone getting into office unless Colin Powell came back to run
