Dear Concerned,
Firstly, I cannot tell you how important it is for you to go to the doctor if you think you've miscarried. Depending on how far along you are, it could be a serious shock to your system and could potentially have life-threatening complications.
One of the most obvious and certain signs would be if you were having your period, except with more blood than normal (again depending on how far along you are there could be a great deal of blood, which needs to be monitered so you don't go into shock).
Other symptoms could include abdominal pain/cramps, nausea, headache, chills and extreme fatigue. But all these symptoms (save the bleeding) could be signs of something else, so you really should get a professional opinion and should be seeing a doctor for care during your pregnancy anyway. Good luck.

Well, if you did a pregnancy test and it was positive and now its not...then you probably had a miscarriage. I had one a few years ago when I was about 10 weeks, and I got heavy abdominal cramping--not of the usual period type--and bleeding. Under my doctors care, I eventually "passed" it..and without graphic details.. trust me..you would know it if that happened. I dont know how old you are, or what your situation is..but it sounds like you or someone you know needs to get to a doctor to know for sure. Sometimes miscarrying can have consequences for the mothers health, both physical and emotional. Talk to someone you trust, and see a doctor that specializes in womens health. If you dont have health insurance or alot of money, there are clinics such as planned parenthood that can provide you with information and medical care. you seem younger, so please take care of yourself and see a doctor.

You'll get really bad cramps, like ten times worse than your regular period cramps. You'll start bleeding heavily. Sometimes you'll even be able to feel your uterus contract because it's trying to expel the fetus. If you think that you had a miscarriage, make sure you see your GYN because she might need to clean your uterus and find out the cause of the miscarriage.

HEAVY clotting, abnormal bleeding, strong cramping, nausia or unexplained illness. If you think you were having a miscarriage it's important that you get to the dr and check it out... sometimes miscarrages terminate pregancys but dont get it all out. if there is any " sac " left inside of you and you were pregnant you may run the risk of infection. good luck

if you start bleeding or having some cramps also if you pass any clots or tissue matter can be a sign but the best way would be to have a pelvic done and a possible ultrasound
