I was just wondering what your opinions were about if Canada was dependent on the United States market?

Canada and the USA each others greatest trading partner.

Canada is dependent upon the united states market with the regards to they are the main consumer of Canadian merchandise.

"America's trade deficit with Canada soared above the $50 billion mark during the first three quarters of this year, says a new report from the U.S. Bureau of Economic Analysis.

The United States exported $172.8 billion of goods to Canada from January through September. But it imported $229.4 billion of Canadian merchandise during the same nine-month span, yielding a trade deficit of $56.6 billion."

Yes, they are our biggest trade parnter. We also depend on them as a Nato member to defend us as we'd also do our part to defend them. Friends depend on each other, thats not a bad thing.

no not at all, look up how much oil Canada has and you can also look up how the natural resources there have barley been scratch(metals,mineral exploration), we have to play nice with them because we need cheap goods. plus our border is so unmanned and porous we need to get along,so we can trade security and military secrets.

dependent; for what reason would they be? Seems to me we are about to become more dependent on them.
