Highway 74 is a direct shot to Wilmington (Wrightsville Beach). Hwy 74 is on the I-485 loop southeast of the city. Myrtel Beach isn't too far south of Wilmington. Or a longer route is I-85 north. It will take you to Raleigh Durham. From there, Hwy 64 will take you to Nags Head/ Kitty Hawk.

I got my Rand McNally Atlas from WalMart for $5. A note of caution: the atlas with large print for old folks isn't as good as the regular atlas.

You could try Google Maps, but that's like Mapquest.

Might also try the U.S. Geological Survey site. They may have a map you're looking for.
