The origin of your problem can be found via medical examination and diagnostic tests. It could be a muscular strain: whether latissimus dorsi or intercostal muscles (muscles between the ribs) or another muscle. The pain could also be referred from a spinal nerve. This certainly calls for more diagnostic tests.

I hope you are under the care of an Orthopedist and not just your primary care physician. If not, make an appointment with one - they can can rule out possible nerve involvement and give you a proper diagnosis. The physician will give you your treatment options which may include meds, physical therapy, etc.

Good luck.

He thinks each and every ailment is on the subject of "pinched nerves". NO it fairly is not. Your mom fairly needs to work out a well being practitioner approximately her soreness. there is not any way all of us here on Yahoo solutions can wisely say what's going on along with her. i'll assert, even however, that the gallbladder is placed on the front good greater component, yet will oftentimes refer soreness in the direction of the main appropriate component of returned and the shoulder blade section, so because it fairly is a probability (if she nevertheless has her gallbladder). Gallstones or an contaminated gallbladder might reason considerable soreness after a heavy or fatty meal...or perhaps continuously. The physician will probable order an ultrasound to diagnose gallbladder problems.

realove33 (previous post) has it right.
Get to the physical therapist. . .dealing with the thorax isn't all that easy, so see someone with experience.

Go to APTA.org, click on "Find a PT", and search your home area.

Good luck.
