You can try the following:
1. you can look into your temporary internet files.
2. you can check your bookmarks section to see if you have saved it by any chance.
3. If you partly remember the site's name then you can try writing it on your address bar to see if it gets retrieved from your cached area.
4. At the end, start using del.icio.us or digg or any other online site managers to save your favorite links and retrieve them easily later.
