I just got the game recently and ive gotten pretty far.But i cant get past the giant rat that is guarding the serphants jewel eye for the statue.So if i cant pass it i wont get the viking ship.Someone please help me!

as soon as you enter that dungeon, you can take mini off. you only need mini to get INSIDE, and possibly one or two places inside the dungeon

raising your level is always a good idea, in a battle oriented rpg, to overcome tough bosses. just walk through the dungeon again, getting in random fights, and leaving to heal

there is no secret trick to beating that rat, sorry

It's not that difficult. Did you search around the area to find better weapons and armor? Maybe you're level isn't high enough, so you need to level up some more.

If you're in mini form, use 3 black mages and cast magic on the rat, and use the white mage to cure everyone.
