If either a Democrat or a Republican are elected in 2008. We might not have to worry about leaving this country. Cus this country may not exist any longer. They've already written the pledge of allegiance to the North American Union.

I would stay just so I can say "I told you so" when the Democrats screw stuff up. I also love and support my country so I would want to be here in 4 years when we have to start building ourselves back up.

Plus, if all Republicans/Conservatives leave, the US will become an extension of Mexico, the pledge will be banned, abortion will be the only birth control, saying "God Bless You" will get you thrown in jail, spanish will be our national language, no one will work and everyone will be on welfare, criminals will run free because "they had a rough life".

In addition, the hollywood stars will be in charge, because their political friends will be too spinless to say no. I don't know about you but Barbara Streisand as a person in charge would scare the crap out of me.

it must be nice to have enough money to afford to live as you wish, any where you choose, avoiding responsibility, demanding capitulation, expecting servitude, living luxuriously, eating your fill, contemptuously.
i wish i could do that.
unfortunately, whether i agree with my government, its president, or it's political party's ideology, i feel first and foremost a loyalty to my country, my country men, and the functional process that maintains it.
besides, i would much rather say i fought the fight for freedom, ..than have to say i hung out elsewhere until the battles were fought.
don't let the the door hit ya in the butt.

Oh but its ok for the Republicans to corrupt your way of living?

Wish it was so easy to leave a country, if the opposite party got elected.

You will not leave, no other nation would have an ex American.

I'll wait the 4 years, and then enjoy the rest of my life with a Republican President, and Congress. That is, if they win in 2008, which I highly doubt.

Where exactly would you go? America is about as far to the right as anywhere on Earth. Dems or GOP, you guys are way behind Europe on the whole spectrum of social issues such as separation of church and state, prohibition, even freedom of expression.

I am a conservative but I don't depend on the president or any elected official to achieve the things in life I desire. This is the a great country and I plan to stay, educate people about conservatism and get conservatives elected.

I am going to stick around so I can laugh at all the fools who elected the democrat when the country goes into the crapper.

I agree with the guy on top. Conservatives are a better moral platform, hands down, bar none. But liberal positions on the economy, environment and even diplomacy may prove to be an advantage.
