i really wanted a wii real bad and i finally got it but now its just collecting dust i havn't played it in about a month and a half i just sit and play xbox live when all the good stuff gonna come out for it

It seems this way for every system, the good games don't come out until 6 months after launch. Here are some games coming out soon for the Wii.
Prince of Persia: Rival Swords
Medal of Honor Vanguard
Super Paper Mario
Mortal Kombat Armageddon
Spider-Man 3
Metroid Prime 3: Corruption
Super Smash Bros: Brawl
Most of these should be out within the next 4 months.
When the Xbox 360 came out most of the games weren't that great until a few months later. Ghost Recon came out and redeemed the Xbox 360.

If you look back at video game history you'll see that many game systems at the start of their life span did not have many good games(save for one or two good ones) but as time goes on more and more developers hop on the bandwagon and more and more great games are pumped out. Don't worry, you did not waste your money. Over time the Wii will see more great games as time goes on. The only reason the XBox has more good games because it's been out longer. Just be patient!

I think it depends on the person, I had my wii for a while and i still love it, but i also dont care anout playstation or xbox, never owned one. i dont really care about playing war games with other people in xbox live.. so if your a hardcorexbox playstation person the wii might not be for you, but if your like me and love silly bright goofy nintendo stuff then the wii is great. I love it!

hey have always been inovative and different, trying to create new rules and break boundries...and they have.
Your Wii was not a waste of money, there will be many great games out for it in the near future. Actually, b/c of the low price and great game release, it has sold better than PS3.
Just be patient, Nintendo has always gave us a reason to own their system :)

Just wait a while. It's only towards the beginning of it's phase. I feel it's following the same path as the Nintendo DS. The Nintendo DS wasn't getting much for a little while, but it eventually started getting its great games and became a massive success.

the Wii has it's advantages, but it is only useful in certain genre of gameing. red steal is on of the better games for the system, and i hear the controls are choppy and repetative. as far as value goes, Xbox and Xbox live are much supirior. microsoft has been around the block with PC gameing, and they know what works when it comes to online. plus there are many better games for the 360, (i am a long time halo fan, so bear with me) comeing soon you have halo wars, halo 3, there is gears of war, and many many more. as far as i can tell, the wii is simply playing the long worn out mario game, more zelda (a good game, but how is it not played out yet??) and the other classic characters in sloppy remakes.

Be patient. Play your XBox for now then when the good games come out get them. Oh! and put away your wii for now so it doesn't get all dirty.

maynee, dont listen to the rest. the 360 has been out for a year, thats why it has plenty of games. and what do you mean by no good games? twilight princess, smooth moves and just wait a little loner for galaxy and prime corruption 3. ssbb is ok too.

By the sounds of it, you just may have wasted a little bit of your money. You should really think about things before you buy them. Ask yourself things like "Do I really want this?" or "Will I use it a lot?" It will help you save money.
