..meet up again with your first love?? Is it better to leave it as the fairytale/drama that it was or is it better to realise all was not what it seemed?

My ex and I often see each other now though after we split up we didn't meet again for years! He still had the attributes I loved him for and was still good-looking but there were some things that hadn't changed about him that I viewed in a different light10 years later! Even if either of us had been free to pursue another relationship, I'm sure there were changes on both sides and it may never have worked! He wasn't my true love just the first I thought might be!
My true love is still walking by my side through this crazy life!
Both of us were lucky and have been married to our partners for 36 and 35 years!

I met my first love ten years after we had broken up; he was married and I was married.
I still felt a flutter when I looked at him, and remembered how I once felt about him, but talking to my friends here, I am the only one with a good memory of my first love; the others have all bumped into theirs, and wondered what they ever saw in them!!

My first love was almost fairy tale like. I felt like a pampered princess with him my knight in shining armor. I met him a few years ago. What a shock. I did not see what I saw in him then!

nope I don't. The kind of feelings a person may show will probabaly depend on how much feelings he have for that person. you can't say t iof you maeet him again then same feelings will what will come to you, of course it depends, if you have a relationship with somebody already and you feel comlpete with it ten it is impossible for you to say that you'll feel same feelings to that guy still.

You know, I rather like Mae West's comment, "Too much of anything can be - wonderful."
