Does the Bible prohibit prom?

No, the prom is ok to go to. The Bible doesn't say anything against taking a date to the prom and enjoying yourself. Dancing is good for you.

My sister's church convinced her not to go to the prom by asking, "How would you feel if Jesus walked in to the room and you were dancing!?" Do you think Jesus would be angry? Disappointed? Or might he chill and enjoy being out with the peeps? Life is to be enjoyed. God gave you that. Enjoy!

Jesus went to a wedding where there was dancing. People have all kinds of cultural celebrations. The Bible only tells us to honor God in all we do. If what we are doing would embarrass God in calling us His children then we shouldn't do it.
It's between the person and God.

Do you mean "Porn"? If that's what you mean I doubt it says anything. The bible was way before porn. If you mean "Prom", I think they didn't have proms back then either.

No...actually I believe there are parts that actually talk about rising up and dancing.
