1. Okay there is 12 eggs in a dozen and he used 3/4. Multiply 12 by the numerator (3) so you get 36/4. That means he used 9 eggs. He then used 2/3 of those eggs to make snadwiches. Same steps = 2 x 9 =18. 18/3 = 6. He boiled 9 eggs and used 6 for sandwiches.

2. Okay we know that 3/4 of his trophies are baseball so we multiply the fraction of silver ones to the number of baseball trophies. Thus we get 3/16 of his trophies are silver.

3. Okay, we have two 1/4ths. This means we have 1/2 and 1/5 of the circle. 1/2 = 50% and 1/5 = 20%. This means that 30% are dogs. Fractionwise that would be 3/10.

dozen=12

1)Find 1/4 of 12= 12/4=3
3 quarters=3x3=9 eggs
Find 1/3 of 9=9/3=3
2 thirds=2x3=6 eggs

2) not sure

3) add all of the fractions together, 7/10, than subtract from 1=3/10
