I am already smart and good looking! and life is awesome! people tend to be nicer to good looking folks, plus when you are smart.... your teachers love you!
If I had to pick for someone, I would go with average and smart....
really? what is your idea of ugly? coz with my idea of ugly.... not a lot of people deserve to look ugly (som e do, and I get a good laugh at their expense!)

For what purpose will this person be serving?
If I am going to be required to talk to the person then I would prefer them to be smart. Stupidity annoys me, alot.
On the other hand if the person in question is there for purely cosmetic reasons then who wouldn't want to perve on someone that closely resembles Johnny Depp?
