After years of confusion, Joanie became John, pleasing Chachi tremendously. They moved to Vermont and ran the best bed and breakfast in the state. They lived happily ever after.

Chachi moved on, he changed his name to Charles and moved in with a new family where he lived downstairs and took good care of the kids.
