im 16 and been wearing a blue-black eye shadow with black eyelineer and black mascara. and i put eyeliner on the bottom of my eye and my eyes really look good, they stand out with my blonde hair but is there anything different i could do to make them look good, standout but not wear so much eye stuff.

I wouldn't put so much eyeshadow on. If you use black eyeliner and mascara and you have blonde hair .. that's probably enough. Use a more nuetral eyeshadow, if you must wear one.

To be quite honest I think you are wearing too much eye dark makeup for your age and i am sure it is making you look very hard. I think you should soften your eye makeup a little bit. My suggestion would be to buy a soft bronze eyeshadow. Blend well and highlight with a lighter shade. Then buy black/brown eyeliner or a navy eyeliner and line your eyelid, but smudging it a little bit. Then line bottom lid but very softly. Not harshly. Smudge a bit to give it a smokey look. Then use either black/brown or black mascara. A very soft pinky/peach lip gloss and a very soft blush and that is about it. You will look fresh, natural and modern. Sound's like you do wear quite a bit of eye-make...especially dark, which can look really good in some cases. During the day, when I'm at school for example, I usually wear a nude color that is very shimmery. It makes my eyelids seem to glow and makes them appear larger, but isn't a crazy color, hence it attracts attention to the whites and iris (blue) of my eye. I also use a middling shade of brown that can look very dramatic or natural depending on thickness, but is not as harsh as kohl black. If I'm feeling like it I may also put on a layer of clear or light brown mascara that beefs up my lashes without overdoing it. Basically, natural beauty is in.

try using a dark brown eyeliner instead of black. Then use an eyeshadow a little bit darker than your skin color and make sure that it has your same hue (pinkish,orangish,etc.).Good luck!

seriously. brown looks amazing on everyone, especially greyish brown.
and still use black eyeliner or mascara, but not dark blue.

if u have lite skin u shuld do a darker color but u have to experiment with the colors. if u have dark skin then use lite colors.
