If you're talking about Britney, Jessica, Paris, Lindsay, etc. yes I'm sick of it too. It gives young girls who worship them the wrong idea of what being a woman is about. What a shame!

In my opinion, I'm sick to death of all the focus our society is putting on sexuality.... leave it alone already.
For every educational program out there about STD's and AID's, there are 1,000 TV shows, ads, documentaries, books, movies and gossip columns glorifying sex without commitment or responsibility. Where is the logic in that?
I agree with you to a point
Your statement is a bit of an oxymoron though.... You've admitted that these poor girls have low self esteem, and yet you call them tramps who are nasty attention seekers who are mentally ill idiots.
Because of the overemphasis on free sex, we now have years and years of damage control to deal with.

It is so funny that the slutty girls don't really have nice bodies at all but the girls with really hard worked on bodies that people kill to see don't show it off! Those slutty girls have a lack of self-esteem!

I am, and I am also tired of young men who think that having their underwear hanging out because their pants waists are down around their knees are cute too. Rude behaviour, foul language, and just plain self-disrespect have become far too common in the last few years.
I am a college administrator, and have been for the last 22 years, yes, I am old enough to be your grandmother, probably. And the number of young men and women that I see these days who dress and act as if they respect themselves and their futures are few and far between. I have sat through young people bad mouthing their parents in front of me in my office, some of them so badly that I have interrupted and told them that I do not tolerate such treatment of anyone in my office.
However, it is not universal. Today I am so proud and pleased to say that one student, a young man who was tossed out by his parents several years ago and who conquered the system rather than giving in to it, finished high school and got himself into college, showed up in my office today. The last time I saw him he had on torn and ripped jeans, an old T shirt and shoulder length hair. That was 6 weeks ago. Today, he had a hair cut, a tie and buttondown shirt and Dockers on. Seems that because he has pulled himself up by the bootstraps he was asked to speak on behalf of the other young people who are aging out of the foster care system in our state to our new Governor. I had to tell him how pleased and proud of him I was.

I agree. And what's worse is that they influence young women who aren't "celebrities". I think it's because they are ungodly, and they don't feel a need to be accountable to anyone.
