Past
RB- Thurman Thomas: He doesn't get the accolades that Barry Sanders or Emmit Smith do(and he does deserve as much as the latter.) But Thurm was the original Faulk. He was fast, he could catch, and he could block. His legs never stopped moving, and even though he wasn't the biggest guy, he wasn't shy about making contact and pushing a pile. It was never a concern on 3rd&short, 'cause Thurman would just find a way to get the yards, even when it seemed like he had nowhere to go. I wish McGahee could be like him, and I hope Marv brings in another great back like Thurman.

WR- I don't remember much from when I was younger....but I have to say Don Beebee. That guy was small and fast...but tough as nails. His most famous play is probably stripping the ball from Leon Lett as he high-stepped towards the endzone. It was a proud, if futile gesture, that exemplifies the spirit of the Bills.... no matter how far down we are, we never lay down and die. That, and one night game against Miami where he went up for the ball and got his head slammed between the helmets of two Miami defensive backs. He caught the pass, and sprung right up as if nothing had ever happened.

Now
RB- Tiki Barber
I always liked how he ran, and how much heart he had. It was always fun to watch the Giants because Tiki was such a great runner and a joy to watch. Class act all the way too...

WR- Lee Evans
Yeah...I'm biased. But I just love the guy. Soft-spoken and unassuming. Great guy, great receiver. He's got great speed, but he also runs crisp routes and has made his share of blocks for his teammates. An all-around great player you can't help but like...

Given his character and how good and complete he is I would have to say my favortie running back now is LT. If you're talking past backs you cannot look any farther than the only and only late great Walter "Sweetness" Payton. As far as WR goes how bout the classiest guys in the NFL today? Marvin Harrison. Not only will he beat you but he'll beat you with class. And past WR there is none better then Jerry Rice.

In the past I would pick Chuck Foreman he was the original back out of the backfield!! Barry Sanders close second

Jerry Rice was the class of all receivers.
