i would suggest testing the effects of light and color on photosynthesis. you could do this by placing a plant in the sun and covering some of the leaves so that light cannot pass through. after a few days test each leaf for the presence of starch using iodine. you could also test a leaf that is not completely green for starch using iodine and see whether more starch is present in the green area (where chloroplasts are in abundance)

You could:
1. Compare the pigments in the leaves from different plants
2. See if photosynthesis goes at a faster rate when carbon dioxide is added to the environment
3. Compare the rate of photosynthesis in different types of light
4. Compare the rate of photosynthesis in different temperatures
5. Find out the effects of covering stomata with petroleum jelly

Well, photosynthesis depends on light. You could test whether different colors or intensities of light have an effect on plant growth. For instance, you could grow three groups of the same plant under white light, blue light, and red light. You would measure the growth each week and compare. The white light would be the control.

a million. while a plant is closer to water, there is greater humidity interior the air. while the humidity ranges are greater, the fee of transpiration (loss of water from stems/leaves) is slower. it rather is efficient to photosynthesis because of the fact it relies upon on gasoline replace over a humid floor and so if the exterior. 2. without gentle, the gaurd cells on a plant life stomata % up 3. sunlight is absorbed by skill of chlorophyll pigment and is switched over into chemical potential. a number of the potential absorbed is used to offer ATP potential and a few is used to chop up water molecules (photolysis) . Photolysis effects interior the formation of Oxygen and hydrogen. Carbon is absorbed and switched over from a gasoline to a sturdy (carbon fixation) utilising hydrogen from photolysis and potential ATP. 4. end product= oxygen (it rather is waste)

photosynthesis is using sunlight to make starch and test it with iodine it would turn bluish black showing the presence of starch if a plant left in dark for some time it would be that bluish black compared to the first one
