small white roses, and ask them to mix some light blue small flowers with it....Stay away from Carnations. And make sure they don't put any fern for green in it, those scream funeral.
But if you really want to be impressive, make sure you hold the doors open for her, and pull out all the manners, nothing like a guy who thinks your worth his attention.

White roses are classic. My prom date got me the most gorgeous white rose corsage with 3 roses, baby's breath, and greenery. Any sort of white flower (exception of carnations and daisies) will do nicely, just make sure the florist you buy it from uses the best flowers - nice and open.

Something to offset the dark blue, but blend with your outfit too. I LOVE the white orchid ideas...

no longer a multi-colore corsage, I reccommend getting a coloration from her gown, if the gown is in many circumstances purple with a touch crimson, get a crimson corsage with slightly of white or black. :)

definetly a white flower (NO CARNATIONS) and have the ribbons to be silver or gold...depending on what type of jewelry she is wearing (silver or gold)
