I am wondering we have some really great tv shows here in the uk like Spooks, Hustle, New Street Law and so forth. I was wondering if Americans watch any British tv output in the states do you watch any of our shows if they are broadcast on any of your tv channels.
We get lots of American TV shows like CSI, Law & order, Two and a Half men, Everyone Hates Chris and Family Law (which I love) I know that The Office is the only British TV show to win an Emmy as far as I can understand.

Here in Canada we get British programmes on public TV (supported by memberships and donations, not advertising.) We don't get first run shows, but dramas like Foyle's War, Midsomer Murders, A touch of Frost, Eastenders of course, and comedies like Yes P.M.! and Singles. David Attenborough documentaries. I enjoy them and wish we had more. I really liked Jane Tennyson and shows of that type - very good quality. We also get a BBC channel, but it's mostly home improvements, Antiques Roadshow, You're Killing the Kids etc.

I think British TV is of better quality most of the time however it seems BBC America is like 3 or 4 years behind what you guys are actually showing except the news of course. The best British shows in my opinion are the comedies though most Americans have a hard time with them because you have to actually engage your brain to get the jokes.

i think of British shows have become further and extra oftentimes happening interior the US. in the event that they don't seem to be watched then they seem to be a minimum of copied and remade. Shameless, The place of work, Spooks are all British shows being remade interior the US. BBC u.s. gets an stunning style of visitors and British television shows are bobbing up on different channels like PBS has Sherlock in October and Showtime has secret Diary of a decision woman the two surprising shows. they shop performing and coming returned so i assume they could be oftentimes happening among human beings.

I'd love to watch some of the British TV shows but I don't have access to them. I'm always seeing Q's about the series Boondocks. It seems like it would be good. You also have a lot of popular TV stars I've never heard of. I wish I knew who they were.
