It means "Adams son" and my husbands name is adam. What do you think??

I'm glad you explained the meaning of Addison. My father's name was Addis and he hated it because no one else ever heard of it. His mother's father was named Adam so I think she just kinda shortened it.
Anyway, if it really makes a difference, I like the sound of Addison. Kinda little bit on the snobby side that may prove beneficial as an adult.

Well, you liked it well enough to name your son that. Why ask other people after the fact. It's not like you're going to change it if people say they don't like it. Are you that insecure that you have to ask?

If you have already named him you must like and that is all that matter well until he is old enough to give his opinion. I like the name anything different is good

I've only ever heard it used for a girl, but if its also a boys name then sounds good.
