Kevin durant from texas...his talent and potential are tremendous. its not greg oden from ohio state. sure hes a good player and a freshman as well, but durant isnt a giant beast that dunks the ball every time, hes just raw talent, not size...
durant is better regardless of who goes first in the draft

Greg Oden, hands down. If he had not broken his hand, SHOOTING hand, his numbers would be even better. However scoring 15 a game, rebounding 9.5 a game and blocking 3.5 a game is pretty good for a guy who hasn't played the entire season and when he has played has played hurt all season. And, oh yeah, OSU is ranked #1.

And for those of you who say it's easy to block shots when you're 7 foot tall.... NCAA history is littered with 7 footers who didn't have the talent to get playing time.

Greg Oden is the best player in the NCAA without a question. He is playing without his right hand and he is still able to dominate. Imagine when he is fully recovered. When Oden is drafted he will have immediate impact. I'm predicting that in his NBA career Oden wins around 5 titles.

I would have to say right now that its between Acie Law and Kevin Durant. Both of their teams wouldnt be anywhere near where they are right now without them. Durant may have the edge though because Law seems to dissapear for most of the first half before taking over the games late. Durant seems to be more of a full game threat.

kevin durant, he is a monster who can score from anywhere on the floor, rebounds exceptionally well, and has the wingspan on defense to impose his will, even though he is not a great defensive player...although i have to say acie law continues to climb the charts on my best player list as well, he is a phenomenal clutch shooter averaging 20+ ppg in big 12 play and yet he continues to be ignored by the media as a POY candidate

and to the first guy who said mcroberts...that is a complete and total joke, he is not scoring or rebounding like he should because he just doesn't seem like he wants to be the player he can be out there

From an experts view (I'm an NCAA sports analyst) I would have to say Joakim Noah (Florida). Before you yell out "Durant!" or "Oden!" hear me out.

Ok. How many championships do Oden and Durant have? none. How many does Joakim Noah have? and he was a SOph more when he won! that right there says talent. He was able to beat guys 2 years older than him! Thats sick!

Acie Law IV or Alando Tucker. Just because of the losses it doesn't mean they aren't good. Oden is just slow and lazy. All he does his stay in the paint and block and dunk. Its easy for a seven footer. But i gotta give it up for Acie or even Brandon Rush. Look at the Rock Chalk Jayhawks! OH yeah i forgot STRAWBERRY OR WHATEVER HE IS AMAZING!

There's gonna be a lot of Durant and Oden answers... but honestly I think it's A.C. Law. He's just amazing... and again you may think I'm weird but my runner up for it would be McRoberts... a forward with so much talent as a passer and still strong on the glass and putting points up on the board.
