I know i havent seen this animal live as it died out in 1933 its called by several different names :the Tasmanian Pouched Wolf, Tasmanian Tiger, Kangaroo Wolf, Zebra Wolf, and, occasionally, the Hyena Opossum. but it mostly went by the name "Tasmanian Wolf " its a pretty neat looking animal!!
here is some websites on more about this cool animal.

I think the most unique creature I have ever encountered was something called a bush baby. I didn't even see it in the cage and it gently reached through the bars and touched my hand. When it saw I wasn't scared it held onto my finger with it's sticky little hand. It's eyes were huge and it watched my every move and kept making eye contact with me like it was wondering what I was thinking. Very cool.

One of the most unique creatures that I've seen are albino fish that live in water way down deep in a cave. They are albino because they never see sunlight.
Seen these in a cave in Tennessee. They were definitely unusual.
They are not terribly unusual now thanks to Siegried and Roy, but those white tigers are beautiful. I seen one many years ago in the Washington D.C. zoo before they became so popular. At the time they were very unique.

There are a couple that can be frozen and defrosted and still live. Bees are one of them.....you can stick on in the freezer and defrost it in a week and it will still be alive.
There is an alpine/ mountain grass hopper who hibernates in the winter by being frozen.

A Chupacabra !!!!!!
One late night down by the Mexican border I was fishing the All American Canal..... and as I headed for the truck to get a beer I saw something scurry under my 4 by and
looked with my flashlight to see what it was and , it was the most scary creature Id ever seen . It had big bulging red eyes and black hair spiking down its back , ending at this devilish looking tail. I jumped in the truck and grabbed my camera and it sort of ran and flew away.

Animal that live in places where the sun don't shine.............and no I'm not talking about "that".
I'm talking about the fishes that live in the ocean bottom.
And the animal your talking about is it the "Tardigrade" a.k.a Water Bears?
"It can survive temperatures as low as -450°F, temperatures as high as 300°F, 5,700 grays or 570,000 rads of radiation, 120 years without water, and can also survive in a vacuum like that found in space."
