Because the mainstream media would be going against the liberal agenda if they even come close to broadcasting the truth .
Hillary Clinton is trying her best to silence other media outlets who are getting the truth out . The Internet and talk radio are on her hit list because Americans are becoming more informed . One by one - we are no longer buying the force-fed garbage from the biased liberal media , or the Democrats .

The National Geographic article discusses another variant on the theory that global warming is caused by a substantial increase in solar radiance during the last few years. The evidence cited is a change in the ice caps on Mars. The data about the Mars ice caps it too incomplete to draw any valid conclusions. Direct measurements of solar radiance measured on earth have been almost constant for the two decades or so for which good records exist. Unless the sun shines preferentially in the direction of Mars (and there is absolutely no evidence or theoretical justification for this), the theory in serious difficulty. Alternately, the changes on Mars can be explained entirely by the characteristics of Mars' orbit (warming is caused by being closer to the sun rather than by more sunlight). The evidence does not agree with the solar variability theory, so the solar variability theory is incorrect. The National Geographic article takes the same position adopted by Gore. I am amazed that journalists are sometimes educated enough to ignore theories that are not supported by the evidence, even when the incorrect theory makes an interesting story.

The news media is busy covering more important events such as everything and anything it can muster regarding Anna Nicole Smith. She's more important than "Global Warming" and its spokesman and academy award winner Al Gore, don't you think? The news media does not want you be informed, what's wrong with you in asking such a silly question?
