A schedule was posted, with me off on Thursday and Friday(posted at the first of the week, Monday). My boss is now claiming that I have to work on Friday and if I don't show up, I'll be terminated. Is this legal?

i think it is legal. they assigned your day off but they gave you prior notice of the changes. i suggest you just show up and get your day off re-scheduled next week.

Yes, just make sure they don't count the day worked as a day off. Depending on how it goes you may be owed overtime pay for the day if you meet the hours worked in a week.

Yes. Now go to work and stop sniveling. Lots of people out there willing to work extra hours. Hell not just willing but eager.
