It becomes a sport and entertainment. Kind of like rooster fights, people like to watch and bet.

I felt the same when I was young. Yes, It's a sport. Like Martial Arts, Boxing are all sports It's a battle of strength and strategy. Wrestling has been around for 1000 of years. Now if you asking about WWE. Then No way.. That's entertainment.

I wrestle as an amtuar wrestler, and it isnt homo, its a sport.
Would you call ufc "homo" because you touch guys, of course not, its fighting. Wrestling is just another form of fighting. It takes a lot out of you in matchs.
Professional wrestling (wwe, tna, roh) takes endurance, power, all the the things that amtuar wrestling takes.
Therefore, both are "sports"

This is a common thought amongst teen boys, mostly because they become very aware of their sexuality and there is a lot of body contact in wrestling. Still, wrestling is a sport. It requires speed, strength, skill, and lots of balance. It's probably the most difficult of sports, and I'm not really a fan, I just have to give the sport its due respect. You might consider that as well.

Wrestling is a sport, and has been played for many years.

Wrestling shows dominance. It shows you are better and able to beat up someone. When you get on the mat it is a 6 min personal war with the other guy. Your one and only goal is to beat him.

6 mins thats all you have to fight the other guy. There are rules, but it is fighting. You can down right beat up a guy and have it all legal. It is a way when you can show off to the ladies out on the stands, show off to everyone around you that you are a tough son of a gun and you should not be messed with.

It's technically not a sport, not WWE wrestling. It is entertainment. It is scripted and staged and even though the men and women who do it are very athletic, it is simply another show, like General Hospital or One Life to Live!
