is it more beneficial to equip 2 close call badges? Or would that be wasting my badge points? I know equiping more attack badges makes the move stronger, but what for badges like close call or last stand?

i would put one dat raises attack and a last stand. you get an extra power boost. dats what i did.

A close call badge helps Mario when he is in danger to evade the attack with a higher ratio than usual.
A last stand badge drops the Mario receives from an attack by 1/2

It's all about your style. If your defensive equip two close call badges . If your on the offensive side then equip a attack badge. Or keep upgrading your badges points

it depends how many bp you have, what fight your going in next and your startegy. i chose a balance startegy, which boosted my power, defense, hp, and fp. you could do the same but the balance one is the best.
