it also wont turn off unless i unplug it,its still under warranty will this void that? i just cant get any thing from my monitor

There is a website that will scan your PC and tell you what type of memory your PC will accept. It's a pretty awesome site, loaded with information. I added 1GB to my PC last December, and it went from real slow to real fast. I used to have 128MB. I would recommend 512 or 1GB if you can afford it.

first off what kind of computer is it? Second, unplug it and take out the memory and see if it works. If it does unplug it and put the memory back in. It could be that you didn't have it all the way in
