Thank God it doesn't! It only feels like yesterday that I was 16.
The older I get the faster life seems to fly by.

Everyday while Im at work I pray that Friday comes around quick. Only problem is while Im doing this I'm also quickly wishing my life away. If I was enjoying myself everyday I probably would wish life would slow down a bit, like when I was in uni and had the freedom to do loads of other things...

When I was at school the period between going back to school in September and Christmas was months and months and months. Now it is only a couple of weeks and Easter a fortnight after that. Be glad that life does SEEM to pass slowly it does not last for ever.

It depends on the mission a head. eg I cant wait for end of the year to go for my holiday but I hate the idea that I'll be older by next year, so basically its the expectation of something or the dread of other things to come that makes time seem slow or quick.

Patience is a virtue. Live it day by day, smell the flowers, taste the food before swallowing, and make it what you want it to be.
Eliminate fear since you know about the end, and you'll be fine. I know it means little when you put the end in perspective, but it is just like eating food: even though you know you will be full (the end), you eat with pleasure every time.

Because your expectations are obviously that life will move faster than it does. Alter your expectations, lean back and enjoy the ride.

To what pace is the right amount for life to move?!?!? None, it goes it's own way. A flowing river isn't told how fast it flows. It goes by the force of nature. We can't control how fast our lives go, or how slowly they go. We are in good hands with Mother Nature. Be one with her.

Because we are watching our expectations, instead of the movement of life.

All you are basing life is on time. Time is allways stopping us and managing are minds and fixating us on a specific time and place. what we should go on is the time of now. If we are on a specific time, great things can pass us bye.

This is because a day is a day - a week is a week - a year is a year. The thing to do it to take control of it - not let it control you.
