can i transfer music from itunes to windows media player without having to re-rip?

You can use iTunes to "View in Windows Explorer" and then copy and paste or use "iDump" software to dump your entire library from your iPod back into your PC. iDump is Free and available from here -

ive just tryd it this way if u copy and paste your songs into a folder and the right click on the songs then click propertys and change the format to windows media player they will open on yer windows media player and u can save the to your libary then ...hope this helps
