On hsbcdirect.com, they said that they send you the username in your email and password through the USPS. I have not received an email from them. I read a review of this company, and it said that they send both the username and password to you in 2 seperate envelopes through the USPS. Is this true? And how long did it take your account to get fully up and running from the day you signed up?

This is true.

It took me about 3 days when I signed up about a year ago. The username is very long and all digits. The password is about half as long and also all digits.

You can change the username to whatever you like after you establish the account.

You will also need to make a PIN number for the account.
