I don't know if it is technically a plant, it could be in the protist kingdom but it is far from microscopic, many feet long, kelp. Kelp and seaweed and algae. Don't know if your teacher will accept that but many laypeople do refer to seaweed and kelp as a plant and frequently get away with it.
